Training and advanced continuing Training
Objective of AFOR courses:
Process innovation, optimal assignment and best possible usage of implants and good material are crucial criteria for a successful reconstruction of the musculoskeletal system. Specialised training as well as advanced continuing training of physicians in the field of orthopaedics and traumatology ensure that modern technology and concepts as well as improved techniques and materials can be used in clinical practice.
The AFOR foundation agrees with these requirements by organising courses, seminars and workshops. Training programmes are organised in cooperation with universities, research institutes, hospitals, registered physicians and partners in the industry to pass on theoretical knowledge paired with practical skills to participants.
AFOR courses and symposia are characterised by:
- scientific presentations by highly acknowledged university professors and influential people in the field of orthopaedics and traumatology
- practical workshops in cooperation with sponsors of the AFOR foundation
- scientific and occupational accompanying events
- active integration of participants through interactive presentations and seminars (TED question & answer communication) with one chairman, two debaters and cross fire debates
